Day 10 - Tobermory, ON - Oct. 5

Third day in the Frazer Bay area but today was warmer with virtually no wind. Perfect for a kayak tour. We hopped on a Zodiac and went to a distant island where we transferred to our kayaks. The visibility to the bottom was perfect; we just had to make sure we both didn’t lean to the same side while looking down.

After about 2 hours we transferred back to the Zodiac and headed to the ship. We did make a brief stop on the way. The ship had outfitted a Zodiac as a mimosa bar. We pulled up alongside, had our mimosa and were on our way.

The town of Tobermory was the closest land to the ship and we went in to look around and have lunch. Like other stops we made, Tobermory was in the process of closing for the winter. We found a great little spot to have white fish and chips (the local delicacy) and an ice cold beer.

Then back to the ship.

Tomorrow we will be outside Detroit and the scenery will definitely be different.
