Travel day; but an easy day. It's also the start of Leg 6 of our trip; Barcelona to London on a cruise ship.

We got up early, took the #8 bus to the Lucerne train station, hopped on the the IR70 to Zurich, down 2 levels to the IC5 and exited at the Zurich airport. Door to door 70 minutes. After 4 days on the train system, we felt like experts.

The 90 minute flight to Barcelona was uneventful and we arrived in a wonderfully modern airport. 3-story high ceilings, lots of glass, great signage.

After checking in to our hotel for the night we met up with Mae's brother and his wife who will be traveling with us for the duration of the trip.

We had a drink on Las Rambla (it's what one does in Barcelona) before heading for dinner (paella of course) and then early to bed.

Tomorrow we board the Azamara Onward and spend 11 days visiting small ports in Spain and Portugal before terminating at Southampton (the cruise port for London).
