Today was a sea day; as if we had to relax any more! The day was simply eat, read, nap, repeat. There was a massage for each of us squeezed in there somewhere.
We had dinner at the specialty Mediterranean restaurant which exceeded our expectations. The maître d’ was kind enough to find us on the ship (OK, in the Atlas Bar playing a lively game of Farkle) about 15 minutes before our appointment to let us know that a window table was open. As we thought about it later, her invitation may have been to reduce the noise in the bar by getting us out. We ate right at sunset and had a wonderful view of the setting sun.
Because we sat down earlier than planned for dinner, we were able to catch the evening show. It’s always fun to see young performers getting their early experience.
Mae and I went back to the Atlas Bar for a nightcap and found that we were the only people there. It was a quiet end to a really nice day.
