Today and tomorrow are sea days as we move from Nassau to St John where we arrive on the 26th. Normally, it’s a leisurely sail down through the Bahamian chain of islands, skirting on top of the Dominican Republic and then on to St. John. Well, we took that path but during 20-30 mph gusts off the port bow the whole time. The captain did a great job of using islands as barriers for the waves, but nothing could be done about the wind.
Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast. Naps. Lunch. Naps. Soft Serve ice cream. Movie in the room. Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas show. Bed. Fire alarm (for real, not a drill).
All-in-all a great day!
There are not a whole lot of photos, but I did capture some of the decorations on the ship. It was difficult to capture the scale, but they have gone all out to make every space as festive as they could. And of course, there are food photos!
